817 BLANC LNT was founded in 2012 by Toshiyuki Watanabe, whose experience in fashion buying informs the Japanese eyewear label’s timeless aesthetic. Led by simple design and time-honoured craftsmanship, the designer creates frames that transcend trends and are expertly made from refined materials such as titanium and acetate in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture, which is coveted for its skilled artisans and innovation in the eyewear industry.
